Gainbridge®, Parity, and the Women’s Sports Foundation® Award $222,000 in Grants to 32 Organizations and Athletes Through Third Annual Gainbridge® Assists

Zionsville, Ind. (Sept. 4, 2025) – Gainbridge®, Parity, and the Women’s Sports Foundation® (WSF®) today announced the 2025 recipients of the Gainbridge® Assists Powered by Parity grant program, awarding $222,000 in funding to 32 deserving organizations and athletes across 21 states. These grants aim to level the playing field and expand access to sports and education for girls and women across the country.

Now in its third year, Gainbridge Assists has become a force in driving equity in sports, directly supporting grassroots leaders, elite athletes, and community-based programs that use sport as a platform to build confidence, opportunity, and leadership. This year’s recipients represent a diverse network of changemakers – from Paralympians and Olympians to grassroots organizations and student-led nonprofits – working to promote access and equity for girls and women in sports and education.

Gainbridge Assists continues to grow in reach and resonance levels, supporting changemakers who are breaking down barriers and fostering participation and leadership. The impact goes far beyond the numbers. It’s about investing in equity, access, and the belief that every girl deserves a shot at her dreams.

Each grant recipient will receive $5,000 for an event or project that supports girls and women in sports and/or education. This grant is in honor of Gainbridge ambassador, sports icon, and equality champion, Billie Jean King, who founded WSF over 50 years ago with a $5,000 check.

A special $50,000 grant will be awarded to the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, an organization that embodies the spirit of inclusion and accessibility that drives this program. The Caitlin Clark Foundation, founded by Gainbridge ambassador and WNBA star Caitlin Clark, will receive a special $22,000 grant, recognizing its work to uplift youth through education, nutrition, and sports.

This is an opportunity for each of the organizations to make a huge difference for the next generation of girls and women. It’s great to see that Gainbridge continues to level the playing field through their sponsorship of women’s sports and beyond, especially at a grassroots level.

Grant recipients will execute their events or projects in November 2025. For more information on Gainbridge Assists, visit https://paritynow.co/gainbridge-assists.

Caitlin Clark and the Caitlin Clark Foundation proudly partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa (BGCCI) to celebrate 60 years of impact and opportunity for youth across the region. As part of the milestone celebration, Caitlin launched the Foundation’s first-ever product grant, the Warm Up Campaign, focused on meeting practical needs for kids heading into winter.

With support from her longtime partner, Nike, Caitlin donated over 85 hoodies, 75 pairs of gloves, and 85 winter hats—ensuring students across central Iowa would stay warm in the colder months. She also gifted 57 basketballs, 15 footballs, 12 soccer balls, and 15 jump ropes to support play, activity, and teamwork in Boys and Girls Club programs.

But the support didn’t stop there.

Deeply moved by the mission and needs of youth in her home community, Caitlin also announced a donation of $22,000 to kick off fundraising at the BGCCI 60th Anniversary Gala. This financial gift was made in direct alignment with the Caitlin Clark Foundation’s mission to uplift youth through education, nutrition, and sports—three pillars that have shaped Caitlin’s own life and legacy.

The Warm Up Campaign marked the Foundation’s first product grant initiative, demonstrating the powerful impact of showing up with both heart and action.

Our 60th Celebration was a magical evening that celebrated our founding families and the community that has supported our Club members with overwhelming generosity. The evening was even more magical with the announcement of the first donation from the Caitlin Clark Foundation. We are so grateful to Caitlin and her family for selecting us to share in this special moment.

BGCCI raised nearly $5 million during the gala, breaking records and honoring the people and programs that have shaped 60 years of youth impact in central Iowa.

Four $22,000 Grants in Iowa City https://caitlinclarkfoundation.org/four-22000-grants-in-iowa-city/ Fri, 22 Aug 2025 17:13:35 +0000 https://cc22.wpenginepowered.com/?p=386 In Honor of Caitlin’s Jersey Retirement at University of Iowa

The idea for these gifts came directly from Caitlin. In the weeks leading up to her jersey retirement, she called home and asked how she could give back in a way that was both meaningful and personal. She wanted to honor the community that had supported her so wholeheartedly, and she knew exactly which organizations to choose.

  • University of Iowa Children’s Hospital – Throughout her college career, Caitlin made regular, often private visits to the Children’s Hospital, meeting young patients and their families. While many saw her as a source of encouragement and inspiration, Caitlin often left her time there feeling just as encouraged and inspired. This gift honors those moments and the children whose strength inspired her.
  • Boys and Girls Club of the Corridor – Early in her career, Caitlin personally supported the Boys and Girls Club, knowing the vital role it plays in giving kids a safe, encouraging place to learn and grow. This grant continues that commitment, helping the Club expand opportunities and resources for the next generation.
  • Special Olympics Iowa – East Central – Inspired by her friend and mentor Debbie Antonelli’s work with Special Olympics, Caitlin wanted to be a part of creating incredible chances for people of all abilities to experience the joy and empowerment that sports can bring. This gift celebrates their determination and the communities that cheer them on.
  • Coralville Community Food Pantry – This is where Caitlin first began her own journey of giving back. From those early experiences, she saw how something as simple as providing a meal could change someone’s day (and possibly their future).

One of my favorite things about Iowa City is the way the community is connected and how everyone supports each other. It’s something I felt deeply during my time here, and it’s something I want to stay connected with for the rest of my life. I’m proud to support each of these organizations and the meaningful impact they make for the people of Iowa.

Caitlin has previously partnered with all four of these organizations—through product donations, fundraising participation, event appearances, and, in the case of the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, regular visits as a student-athlete. These moments were some of her most cherished experiences off the court during her college years.

Mary Coffin, President of the Caitlin Clark Foundation, shared, “We’re thrilled to support these organizations because of their alignment with our mission and Caitlin’s personal connection to their work. These grants represent the heart of our Foundation—uplifting youth through education, nutrition, and sports. Caitlin continues to inspire others by showing how one moment, one act of generosity, can make a lasting difference.”

These grants come just days ahead of the highly anticipated retirement of Caitlin’s #22 jersey, which will be honored during the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball game against USC on February 2 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Caitlin’s passion and joy on the court inspire her Foundation’s work off the court. The Caitlin Clark Foundation’s mission is to uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sports—three pillars Caitlin believes were foundational in her own success.

A core pillar of the Caitlin Clark Foundation, Education, is focused on reading as one of the critical skills to inspire the development of language, concentration, imagination, and creativity necessary for long-term success. Together, the Caitlin Clark Foundation and Scholastic will work to create awareness and measurable impact of early age reading access in under-resourced schools through the United States of Readers and other programs.

This collaborative work begins with a donation to the Caitlin Clark Foundation of 22,000 brand-new children’s books distributed to various programs that can reach children who do not always have access to books for reading.

Reading and education have always been hugely important in my life. I remember picking out the books from the Scholastic flyer and how empowering that was for me as a child, and how motivated I was to read. I want to help kids have the same experience, to develop their reading skills and open their imaginations to dream big. I am thrilled that my Foundation will support reading as Literacy Champions by collaborating with Scholastic and the United States of Readers.

We need to make radical moves and inspire meaningful improvement to change the trajectory of child literacy rates in America. To do this, we need champion-level advocacy and support, which is what makes collaborating with Caitlin so exciting. As we’ve seen from the 65,000 students nationwide who participate in the United States of Readers program, access to quality books and positive reading role models are key to developing motivation and self-confidence and increasing literacy. Caitlin is a proven role model, and we are thrilled to work together with the Caitlin Clark Foundation to make reading more accessible to kids everywhere.

Caitlin’s passion and joy on the court inspire her Foundation’s work off the court. The Caitlin Clark Foundation’s mission is to uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sports—three pillars Caitlin believes were foundational in her own success.

Founded by Scholastic in 2021, the United States of Readers is a results-driven literacy program that provides PreK–8th grade students attending under-resourced schools across America with access to choose and own their own books and help their teachers and families support literacy in school and at home.

The Musco Mini-Pitch System™ modular sports solution is designed to support soccer, basketball, and futsal, a faster-paced variant of soccer. With built-in goals and hoops, integrated fencing, lighting, benches, custom surfacing, and ADA-accessible gates, the structures will help bring youth in our community together for recreation.

“The Caitlin Clark Foundation is thrilled to be a partner in delivering these sport systems to the Des Moines schools and the greater community,” said Mary Coffin, president of the Caitlin Clark Foundation. “Providing courts for local youth helps them find opportunities to play and connect with others. Sport activities provided by these courts help develop connections, foster teamwork, and improve communication. These are essential skills that complement the education journey and will have an impact beyond the court experience.”

The Caitlin Clark Foundation and Musco call their relationship a perfect match. The two organizations are located in Iowa and are both committed to equitable access to recreation for youth. Both have a passion for sports, whether it is a game played at the local park and recreation field, a high school gymnasium, a college arena, or a professional venue. Both understand that sports build teamwork, resiliency, and healthy habits.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than projects that make a difference in kids’ lives,” said Musco CEO Jeff Rogers. “Our partnership with the Caitlin Clark Foundation is meaningful because it stems from shared values to provide increased access to recreation and safer and more enjoyable playing experiences.” According to the U.S. Soccer Foundation, about 6.5 million kids live within one-half mile of a mini-pitch, and each pitch can reach an average of 10,000 kids.

March 31, 2025

March 31, 2025 — The Caitlin Clark Foundation is proud to announce the incredible success of its partnership with Hy-Vee through the Round Up campaign, which raised over $300,000 in March 2025 to help fight childhood hunger across the Midwest.

Throughout the month, customers at Hy-Vee, Dollar Fresh Market, and Fast & Fresh locations were invited to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar or contribute directly with all proceeds directed to the Caitlin Clark Foundation. In partnership with Feeding America, the Caitlin Clark Foundation then distributed the funds to local food banks and pantries across the region, ensuring that the donations made stayed in the communities where they were given.

Nutrition is very important to children’s growth and wellbeing and has been instrumental to my success as an athlete. By providing meals to families in need, we can help make sure each child has the energy they need to succeed.

The initiative reflects the Foundation’s mission to uplift youth through education, nutrition, and sports: three pillars Caitlin credits as foundational to her own success. By collaborating with trusted partners like Hy-Vee and Feeding America, the Caitlin Clark Foundation continues to create measurable, community-level impact for children and families facing food insecurity.

Hy-Vee has been part of Caitlin’s journey since the beginning. This round up is just one more way we can partner together with our shared belief that feeding and supporting kids today will build stronger communities tomorrow.

The Caitlin Clark Foundation actively tracks the impact of every Round Up contribution, ensuring that funds are directed to verified local food distribution programs serving children and families in need. This ongoing commitment demonstrates how powerful community generosity can be when combined with accountability and shared purpose.

Caitlin’s passion and joy on the court inspire her Foundation’s work off the court. The Caitlin Clark Foundation exists to open doors for kids to learn, grow, and thrive through education, nutrition, and sports.

Hy-Vee, Inc. is an employee-owned corporation operating more than 570 business units across nine Midwestern states with sales of more than $13 billion annually. Hy-Vee was the first company to sponsor Caitlin Clark in 2021 and continues to partner with her to strengthen local communities through service and giving.

Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, working through a nationwide network of food banks and meal programs to serve people facing hunger in every community.
